Horton and "Little Horton" :)

We went to see this movie last night. I don't remember the last time I saw a movie on opening day. It was fun, and not nearly as crowded as I thought. I HIGHLY recommend seeing it, by the way. The creativity is amazing.
All that to say this: Even though we loved the movie, our real treat came as we were walking back to our car after the movie. A little boy (maybe four years old) walking in front of us picked a daisy from a flowerbed, held it close to his mouth, and started screaming at the flower: "WHO!" "HELLO!" "WHO WHO!" It was sooooo adorable. We were cracking up. That made my day. I'm sure he was absolutely convinced there was a little world in that flower :)

I can't wait to see that movie! It looks adorable. I'm thinking I might have to pull a flower afterwards too and see what happens!!

That is so funny! It's good to know that you liked the movie. It got terrible reviews, so I wasn't sure if I wanted to see it.

We've been having internet problems since last Friday evening. It goes on and off sporadically. Someone should be coming today to fix it (and of course it's working perfectly right now, lol!). I don't usually blog in the middle of the day (too much house stuff to do) , but I gotta grab the internet while I can. I'm desperate! It has actually startled me to realize how connected I am to all of you--even you, Ronalyn, and I have never met you. I have so missed reading blogs, commenting on them, and posting. So I hope the person who comes to repair the internet issue can perform a miracle so I don't have to miss you anymore :)

A Rare Moment Captured on Film

No, it's not a rare moment that my kids brush their teeth (well, it would be if left up to them!). I walked into the bathroom tonight to see both my kids in the bathroom brushing their teeth ... and this is the rare moment--they actually got along! I had to run and get my camera to document this rare moment of parental bliss. And now I'm sharing it with you. Now isn't your day more complete?!

Another Layout

Credits here . Can you tell how I've been spending my free time :) I had the most fun taking these pictures! I just asked Ashley to tell me a story (she is quite the storyteller and quite the drama queen--she takes after her aunt, lol!) . As she was telling her GREAT story, I just used the "continuous" mode in the fancy, shmancy camera and shot away. Went to Seal Beach today with Teena . So fun and relaxing. Why don't I have pictures to share? Ummm, I kind of forgot the CF card (to store the pictures on) at home. That's only the second time in less than a week that I've done that. Aren't you proud of me?! In case any of you were wondering, yes, I am a total "spaz." :)
