Random Thoughts ...

floating around in my head tonight:

  • wondering if they're killing Sarah off in CSI (hope not); and if they don't, the scene is set for Sarah and Grissom to begin their long-overdue romance
  • hoping I can make it a whole school year without getting one of those calls from a teacher :) --it's more embarrassing when you get the calls and you are a teacher--except her teachers don't know I was a teacher. (Tonight was Back-to-School Night)
  • kind of enjoying the constant company of the workers. It dawned on me today that I'll miss them when they're gone. The first several days they made me extremely nervous, and I made sure to keep the doors locked at all times. When they installed the patio door, needless to say, I couldn't lock them out. I kind of got used to them. And now I actually feel safer with them around.
  • ready for a new cell phone. Mine has so many "issues" it's not funny.
  • thinking I enjoyed watching Lori's videos so much that I want to learn how to upload them, too.
  • DYING for the next installment of ThelPioneerlWoman's romance with Marlboro Man (a.k.a. her husband) ... hopefully tomorrow morning; thanks to Teena, I'm addicted to her blog ;)

And on that note, I'll hit the hay (so glad we have much more comfortable mattresses today!)

WOW, I LOVE the new look! I like that color too. Looks like you will be one of the BEST looking houses on the block now. I can't wait to see it (not sure when that will be??) :(

Your blog site is a great way for me to really see what is going on in your life and how are you are doing. And of course I love all the great pics.

Things that make me smile and sometimes laugh: my family Starbucks with friends reading blogs :) parking the car in the driveway of our "new" house, lol! Feb Year In Review Layouts

Just a quick post tonight. It dawned on me a few days ago that I'm already behind in my "Year . In . Review" layouts, so I put February's together. Believe it or not, for such a simple concept, these layouts took about three hours combined. I couldn't believe it! Anyway, these photos depict the highlights of February. Maybe tomorrow I'll do March :) (I wonder how many hours that will take?!) Just in case you're wondering, Carlos is still sick--no fever, just a sore throat now. Hopefully he'll go back to school on Tuesday ('cause I need some "me" time before I turn into a monster, lol!). 'Cause as you all know, life is all about me, right ;) Happy Monday, y'all!
Wow! I am so bugged that I never post anymore. Facebook is just so much easier. I'll just keep it simple-- random data: today I had Pho (Vietnamese soup) for the first time and LOVED it!! Seriously, you haven't lived till you've tried it :) I created two and a half sketches of future layouts, and halfway finished two more layouts. really on a paper-scrapping frenzy! This is one sketch: I joined the Facebook group "I grew up in Fairfield, IL, and thought I would die of boredom (but I didn't)" :D ... you have to have grown up in a dinky town to "get it" had a "day off from life" hanging out at my in-laws house all day ... ahhh! gotta love days like that I can't believe it's almost June already
